The properties of the coating colour and the final coating depend a lot on the pigments used in the coating colour. When choosing pigment for a certain product, the product specifications that must be considered are brightness, gloss and opacity and ink absorption. The rheological properties of coating colour greatly affect the runnablity of paper. The morphology of the pigment particle affects the properties of the coating colour and the final coating. Keywords

For manufacturing point of view, to attain a coated paper of best performance, selection or optimization of base paper properties is necessary. Base paper characteristics like roughness, porosity equally contribute as pigment properties. The quality of coated paper is majorly influenced by the properties of base paper. A base paper property defines the final coating structure, its optical efficiency, and the resulting coated paper performance and printability. Final coated paper decides the printability result by its coating Structure, optical efficiency, which is also influence of base paper.- Experimental Investigations of Coefficient of Drag and Flow Separation Point over Circular and Square Cross

The present study in an attempt to study experimental investigation of coefficient of drag and flow separation pint over circular and square cross. The experimental test rig has been tested in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning laboratory. Results have been presented for a rough circular cylinder at various separation angles to the incoming flow. The range of angles of separation varies between 0° to 180° Experiments show that coefficient of pressure decreases with increases the separation angle and attain a lowest value, and then increases with an increase in the separation angle. Keywords

In this review paper we are going to study about future of aerosol packaging and also focus on definition, Manufacturing, working principal, advantage, disadvantage, current market and its future. Aerosols cans used in mostly all packaging industries, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, food etc. The global aerosol market size was 15.48 billion units in 2015 and is expected to witness substantial growth over the next eight years on account of its growing usage in household and food sector. Keywords

Laser engraving of gravure cylinders is the latest and most exciting development now being used in the gravure market. Although laser engraving of gravure cylinders is a new variety for etching of gravure cylinders in gravure market, yet vulnerability of processes towards causing various defects exist in present system. Objective of this paper is to throw light on how frequently various defects happen during laser engraving of cylinders and to determine necessary steps to improve quality and efficiency of laser cut rotogravure cylinder production. The results indicated that pinholes, patches and depth variation are most frequently and majorly occurring problems in laser cut rotogravure cylinder manufacturing processes but improper dots and bludges are least occurring problems. Keywords

In this paper we will discuss the many common closures used in pharmaceutical packaging Closures are the essential part of any bottles or cans used in the packaging industry for the purpose of to protect the product from contamination of the dust, bacteria, and from many others small micro organism present in the environment which can not seen with naked eyes. Different types of closures are available according to their requirements; some of them with their functions are discussed in this paper. Closures for Metal Cans, Bottles and Jars, Threaded Closures, Friction-Fit Closures, Crown Closures, Snap-Fit Closures, these are the closures which are widely used for the packaging of pharmaceutical products either it is ointments, syrups, tablets, capsules, liquid whatever be the product, and they act as a seal between product and the environment, pharmaceuticals products requires more attention towards safe packaging, because these products comes in direct contact with consumer. Keywords
